Bolshoi Developments recently completed a stunning refurbishment project in St John’s Wood, London. The brief required a flooring solution that would feel both timeless and modern, while enhancing the flow between living spaces. This custom finish became a defining feature of the scheme.
Flooring & Finish
For this project, the design team selected our Trend plank in prime-grade European oak. With reference to the custom joinery, our bespoke finishing was utilised to create the perfect matching tone and texture, anchoring the entire scheme. The result is a floor that is both understated and profoundly elegant.

Design Detailing
Timber flooring was central to the project’s design narrative. To highlight the natural beauty of the oak, custom floor lighting was integrated throughout the property. This thoughtful detail draws the eye to key areas while ensuring a seamless, cohesive flow between rooms.
The scheme was further enhanced with matching window boards and curated soft furnishings.
The finished home is a beautifully balanced space, showcasing how bespoke timber flooring can transform interiors when paired with thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship.
