Project Overview
This flagship London showroom was designed to feel both refined and elemental, where craftsmanship and quality take precedence over ornamentation. Every surface reflects a dedication to honest materials, subtle texture, and timeless design.
At its centre, the timber floor sets the tone - grounding this space with natural warmth and architectural clarity.
Flooring & Finish
Riva Plank in Nature Grade was selected for its subtle character and long lengths. At 260mm wide, each plank enhances the architectural scale of the space while maintaining an organic authenticity, complementing the designer’s refined aesthetic.
The floor is finished in Elesco’s Native Lacquer, an almost invisible treatment that preserves the tactile quality and appearance of raw timber. This finish provides both the durability and slip resistance (R10) required for a busy retail environment. The result is a material that looks beautifully natural but performs with modern resilience.
Design Detailing
The long and wide Riva plank elongates sightlines and adds a sense of spatial calm. The flooring supports a visual rhythm that ties together the gallery’s layout whilst the organic tone allows furniture and textiles to take centre stage, grounding the interior in quiet sophistication.
This new timber floor supports both the functional and aesthetic ambitions of the space - balancing refinement with both authenticity and practicality.
