Project Overview
Arbour is a purpose-built rental development that includes on-site co-working space for residents. Inspired by the surrounding landscape, this clever design by the team at Kibre gently blurs the line between indoors and out. A bespoke basket weave was used in the main co-working lounge with basket & mansion weave in the quieter focus and meeting zones — This clever flooring design inspires calm and creativity with its premium custom aesthetic.
Flooring & Finish
By incorporating Terracotta slate into a traditional basket weave the team at Kibre have created a visually striking, one of kind interior feature. This bespoke floor has been engineered to perform and has the same lifetime warranty guarantee as all Elesco products. Manufactured with our durable UV finish each floor serves to inspire creativity for years to come.
Design Detailing
The team at Kibre sought something truly distinctive for the more relaxed coworking area—an element that would articulate a clear creative vision.
What began as an initial conversation quickly became a deeper exploration of tone, texture, and material synergy. With the format defined, a curated palette of stone, slate, and timber finishes were presented for review. The design team opted for a Rossa-toned terracotta slate, paired with a smoky medium-brown timber. Together, these tones enrich the floor space, bringing warmth and creating a visually inspiring foundation for the wider interior.
