Set within The Lakes by Yoo, a private estate in the Cotswolds, Whānau Lodge is a calm, contemporary residence by Hamilford Design. The development’s ethos combines luxury with environmental responsibility, and this home reflects that perfectly - natural textures, muted tones, and refined craftsmanship creating a sense of effortless harmony.
Flooring & Finish
At the heart of the interior is our prime grade Riva plank which forms the foundation of the living areas. Crafted with a 6mm European oak top layer and superior long lengths, this floor delivers enduring performance with a sense of quiet luxury.
Its generous proportions and fine prime-grade timber give the interior a calm, architectural rhythm, enhancing the natural light that floods through the expansive glazing. The soft tones of the S9 finish complement this cohesive design, creating a seamless harmony between inside and out.
Design Detailing
Soft, layered fabrics, bespoke joinery, and curated furnishings build upon the flooring’s natural warmth. Every material choice - from the oak underfoot to the timber accents throughout - reinforces the designs language, rooted in simplicity, quality, and connection to nature.
