Project Overview
Present Made Eddington is a pioneering residential community designed around wellbeing, long-term sustainability, and a new standard for rental living. At the heart of the development are its shared co-working and amenity spaces—areas intended to foster connection, productivity, and a sense of place.
AMOS & AMOS, the lead interior designers, sought a flooring material that would complement their refined, natural, and texturally rich design vision while performing reliably in communal settings. Elesco worked with the design team through various sampling stages to create their perfect finish.
Flooring & Finish
Our Riva Plank in Nature Grade with a Band Sawn surface and Rafford finish was specified as the flooring solution across the co-working lounge, breakout spaces, amenity zones and meeting rooms.
Nature Grade
Organic variation and subtle natural features provide visual interest while remaining cohesive and sophisticated.
Band Sawn Texture
The tactile sawn surface introduces depth and character, complementing a broader material palette and reinforcing the natural identity of the spaces.
UV Finish
Our UV hardened oil finishes offer exceptional durability, contemporary matte appearance, and an honest expression of the timber grain.
Engineered Performance
The dimensional stability of the superior length Riva plank ensures consistent results across large, open-plan areas.
Sustainability Credentials
Responsibly sourced timber and low-VOC finishing maintain healthy indoor air quality and support the project’s environmental goals.
Design Detailing
220mm width planks with the impressive Riva length spec of up to 2.8m. Premium plank lengths elevate the sense of flow between spaces.
Band sawing creates character with random saw marks to the floors surface. This texture, combined with the lighter shades of Rafford create a Scandinavian feel with warmth a modern charm.
The Result
Satisfyingly modern with an understated charm. The interiors at Present made are both calm and comforting. Honest materials are paired with modern vintage styling to create a unique sense of home and community. With its tactile surface, elevated lengths and Scandi tones, our Riva planks set the foundation for each space. Robust in performance, our UV finishes are the perfect fit for light commercial applications offering both functional and design-led benefits.
