This exceptional private residence was designed as a sanctuary for a professional musician — a home that seamlessly blends creativity, comfort and understated luxury. The brief called for a space that felt warm, characterful and effortlessly stylish, capturing those inviting Soho House vibes while remaining practical for family life.
Flooring & Finish
Interior design was led by @rebeccasudicinteriors, who curated a scheme that layered texture, tone and natural materials to create a relaxed yet refined aesthetic. The flooring selected was our Smoky Caramel herringbone from the Trend range. Expertly installed over underfloor heating by @oneflooringldn, ensuring a flawless finish throughout.
Design Detailing
Our Rustic Herringbone in Smoky Caramel was the perfect foundation for this project.
The medium smoked tone adds richness without overwhelming the space, enhancing both natural and artificial light. Its rustic grading introduces subtle knots and natural variation, delivering authenticity and character — key elements in achieving that relaxed members’ club feel.
The herringbone pattern elevates the overall aesthetic, bringing classic detailing into a contemporary setting. It offers visual movement while maintaining balance, making it ideal for open-plan living.
